Quick summary
- The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) and Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) closed to new applications on 29 September 2026.
- Since 30 September 2026, businesses apply under Enterprise Singapore’s EDGE Grant instead.
- Ongoing PSG applications and projects are still processed, and you can still claim when your project is complete.
- Digital marketing under EDGE: up to 50% for SMEs, capped at S$5,000 (the cost is capped at S$10,000). Non-SMEs get up to 30%, capped at S$3,000.

The PSG grant has ended. If you used PSG to fund a digital marketing package, or planned to, that scheme is now closed to new applications: PSG has been replaced by EDGE, Enterprise Singapore’s new single grant. Here are the key dates, what changed, what stayed the same and what it means for your marketing budget.
Is the PSG grant still available?
No. Enterprise Singapore’s Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) stopped taking new applications on 29 September 2026, together with EDG and MRA. From 30 September 2026, Singapore businesses apply for grant support under the EDGE Grant instead. Ongoing PSG projects are not cancelled.
These are the dates that matter:
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| 29 Sep 2026 | PSG, EDG and MRA cease. No new applications under these schemes. |
| 30 Sep 2026 | EDGE Grant applications open on the Business Grants Portal. |
| 1 Nov 2026 | EDGE claims open for single-function digital solutions (this includes digital marketing). |
| 30 Nov 2026 | Deadline for final SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) claims for programmes under the old schemes. |
| 1 Dec 2026 | EDGE claims open for all other activities. |
What replaced PSG? When was PSG replaced by EDGE?
PSG was replaced by EDGE on 30 September 2026. The EDGE Grant is run by Enterprise Singapore and merges PSG, EDG and MRA into one grant with one application. It covers 8 business areas and over 150 activities.
EDGE is not an acronym (see the EDGE Grant FAQ), and it is Enterprise Singapore’s grant, not IMDA’s. IMDA pre-approves digital solutions and vendors on its SMEs Go Digital programme. Details are on the official EDGE Grant page; see also our plain-English EDGE Grant Singapore guide for eligibility, caps and claims.
What happens to my ongoing PSG application or project?
Ongoing PSG applications and projects continue as normal. Enterprise Singapore says they will still be processed, and you can submit your claim on the Business Grants Portal (BGP) when the project is complete. Applications submitted before EDGE opened are assessed under the old PSG rules.
If you already have a PSG Letter of Offer, keep to the project and claim timeline in that letter, and claim on BGP once the project is complete and fully paid. If you used SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) on a programme under the old schemes, submit your final SFEC claims by 30 November 2026.
PSG vs EDGE: what changed?
The biggest changes are the caps, who can apply and where you find solutions. PSG offered up to 50% (up to S$30,000) for SMEs only, while EDGE gives up to S$100,000 per year across all activities, includes non-SMEs at lower rates, and uses IMDA’s SMEs Go Digital platform for digital solutions.
| PSG (closed) | EDGE Grant (from 30 Sep 2026) | |
|---|---|---|
| Status | No new applications after 29 Sep 2026 | Open |
| Who can apply | SMEs only | SMEs, and non-SMEs at lower rates |
| Support level | Up to 50% of eligible costs | Base: up to 50% (SMEs) / 30% (non-SMEs). Up to 70% / 50% only for internationalisation and sustainability activities |
| Cap | Up to S$30,000 | S$100,000 per company per year across all activities (refreshed 1 April). Within it, up to S$30,000 per year for digital solutions |
| Digital marketing | Funded as a pre-approved solution | “Digital Marketing” activity: up to 50%, max S$5,000 for SMEs (cost capped at S$10,000); 30%, max S$3,000 for non-SMEs |
| Where to find solutions | GoBusiness Gov Assist | IMDA’s SMEs Go Digital, with the package built in its Package Builder |
| Processing time | Usually about 6 weeks | About 1 week for the Digital Marketing activity |
| SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit | Could add extra subsidies | Cannot be used with EDGE |
| Claims | On BGP after project completion | On BGP; one single, final claim per project |

What stays the same from PSG to EDGE?
The basic rules you knew under PSG still apply under EDGE. The grant is paid back to you after the project, you must apply before you pay or start, and your company must apply by itself.
- It is a reimbursement. You pay your vendor in full, complete the project, then claim. It is not a discount.
- Apply first, pay later. You must not start work or pay any deposit to a vendor before you submit your application. Retrospective applications are not supported.
- Your vendor cannot apply for you. Third parties must not submit applications on your behalf. Your own staff apply on the Business Grants Portal using Corppass.
- Same basic eligibility. At least 30% Singaporean or PR ownership, and the same SME definition (group turnover up to S$100 million or up to 200 employees).
Where did the PSG digital marketing grant go?
Under EDGE, digital marketing is funded through a named “Digital Marketing” activity. SMEs can get up to 50% support, capped at S$5,000, because the qualifying cost is capped at S$10,000. Non-SMEs can get up to 30%, capped at S$3,000.
For an SME, that means:
- A package costing S$8,000 (before GST): grant of up to S$4,000.
- A package costing S$10,000: grant of up to S$5,000.
- A package costing S$15,000: grant is still capped at S$5,000, because only S$10,000 of the cost qualifies.
Also note, from the official activity page:
- S$30,000 is not the marketing grant. It is the yearly limit for all digital solutions combined, inside the S$100,000 overall cap. A digital marketing grant counts towards it.
- Home-based businesses are not eligible for this activity.
- Check what is covered. The page lists “software costs (capped at 12 months)” as supported, and GST and maintenance as not supported. Before you apply, ask your vendor to show you which items in their package are grant-supported on SMEs Go Digital.
For worked examples, the application steps and what the grant covers, read our guide to the EDGE Grant for digital marketing.
I used PSG for digital marketing before. What should I do now?
Past PSG users can apply for EDGE, but only for a new project, not the same project again. Finish and claim any ongoing PSG project first, then plan your next marketing project under EDGE’s Digital Marketing activity. Follow these steps:
- Close out PSG. Complete any ongoing PSG project and claim by the due date in your Letter of Offer.
- Don’t commit too early. Do not pay a deposit or let your vendor start a new package before you submit your EDGE application.
- Check your eligibility. Your business must be registered and operating in Singapore, at least 30% locally owned and not home-based.
- Check whether your solution qualifies again. The Digital Marketing activity page says applicants must not have previously applied for grant support for the same solution. If you want to continue with the same package you used under PSG, check with your vendor or Enterprise Singapore whether it qualifies before you commit.
- Choose a pre-approved solution. Find a vendor and solution on IMDA’s SMEs Go Digital, get a quotation, and build the package in the Package Builder so it matches the quotation exactly.
- Apply yourself. Generate the package reference ID, then apply on the Business Grants Portal with Corppass. You also need a projection of expected cost savings for one year after the project.
- Budget around the cap. Expect up to S$5,000 for the Digital Marketing activity.
